JCF Frankfurt awards 10 travel grants to attend EuCheMS Chemistry Congress

On the occasion of the 3rd EuCheMS Chemistry Congress the JungChemikerForum Frankfurt am Main (part of the German Chemical Society) awards 10 travel grants to scientist from Eastern Europe in order to strengthen and advance the EuropeanYoungChemistsNetwork (EYCN). Moreover, the scientific exchange with Eastern European young chemists shall be promoted to further expand the existing network.

The Spring Symposium of the JungChemikerForum has repeatedly attracted young committed scientists from Eastern Europe. To additionally provide a suitable international platform at the 3rd EuCheMS Congress in Nuremberg 2010 the JungChemikerForum Frankfurt am Main offers 10 travel grants worth 250 € each to young colleagues from Eastern European countries.

Eligible to apply are Master or PhD students from Eastern Europe.

Following requirements are to be fulfilled:
- You study chemistry or a chemistry related degree program in Eastern Europe*.
- You actively participate in the conference (poster or oral presentation).

Your application has to include:
- CV
- Confirmation of registration for the 3rd EuCheMS Chemistry Congress
- Confirmation of oral or poster presentation

Deadline for applications: 31st of July, 2010

A committee of the JCF Frankfurt am Main and its alumni will choose the 10 participants at the beginning of August 2010.
